English is a main subject taught in schools all over the world. Every school teaches English such as RC Palmer Secondary School. In Grade 8, English and Social Studies are taught together in one class as Humanities. When students move to Grade 9, the two subjects are separated and taught as different classes.

       In English class, students learn important language skills by practicing reading and understanding stories. They work on writing and practice listening and speaking to improve communication. In addition, they learn grammar and new words to help them use English better. English class helps students become better and more confident in using the language every day.
