Mathematics Courses
Regular math courses build students’ skills from Grades 8 to 12. Math 8 and 9 introduce topics such as number operations, algebra, geometry, probability, and financial literacy. In Grade 10, students choose between Workplace Math 10 or Foundations & Pre-Calculus 10. Workplace Math 10-12 focuses on practical skills needed for trades and directly prepares the workforce including measurement, geometry, data analysis, and financial literacy. The Foundations 11–12 supports students covering geometry, probability, combinatorics, and financial planning. The Pre-Calculus 11–12 prepares students for science, engineering, and math programs through algebra, functions, and trigonometry. Students who are aiming for university-level mathematics may also take AP Calculus 12 which follows the College Board curriculum.

Incentive Math courses follow the same curriculum as regular math but are more challenging by faster pacing, stricter marking, and more assignments. Incentive courses offered students a full year ahead of other students. These classes prepare high-achieving students an opportunity to take upper-level math courses such as AP classes and provide them an early advantage in developing strong problem-solving skills earlier than others.

Overall, the regular and incentive math courses give students the skills and flexibility to reach their future goals. Regular courses build a strong foundation skill before students step into the workplace. Incentive courses offer faster pacing and deeper challenges which prepare motivated learners for advanced studies such as AP Calculus.
